Job Description

The Recruit Proposal Writer is responsible for collaborating with subject matter experts to write proposal content for Financial Services RFPs, while supporting proposal content for Healthcare and/or Education RFPs. This person is also responsible for coordinating resources, defining responsibilities and preparing responses to meet proposal deadlines. This person will work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to provide a professional response that achieves successful results.


  • Write, maintain and revise content to enhance proposal responses and keep content current
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop content for proposal responses
  • Schedule meetings and collaborate with sales and sales management, operations management to prepare proposal responses
  • Provide project coordination and manage timelines and requirements as specified in the RFP
  • Collaborate with marketing team to effectively utilize current marketing content and materials
  • Proofread all aspects of proposal content and supporting content for accuracy
  • Assist in creating process standards to continually improve and streamline the proposal process
  • Accurately maintain proposal documentation and organizational databases

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4-5 years of proposal writing experience. We will consider individuals with active industry knowledge/experience within any of the following: Financial Services Accounts Receivable Management/Customer Service industry possessing strong writing and organization skills
  • Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications and SharePoint
  • Able to manage multiple proposals and other assignments effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent project coordination skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work within a defined timeline and to operate with changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Superior customer service and communication skills
  • Strong proofreading skills and demonstrates attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, client oriented team
  • Experience in report writing, specifically in revenue recovery and outsourced customer services is a must
