Job Description:

The QA Analyst is responsible for daily testing of desktop and web applications.

The ideal candidate will be a team player and possess good communication skills.

The QA Analyst works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.

The QA Analyst exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

The QA Analyst demonstrates the ability to identify strategies needed to fix problems. He/She will plan and carry out work independently and use their own initiative and judgment to handle non-routine matters and ambiguous issues.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and automation software/application testing and documentation.
  • Execute test plans and create test reports to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.
  • Monitor program performance after implementation to prevent re-occurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation.
  • Comply with all corporate and departmental policies/procedures and applicable governmental regulations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, which may include cross- utilization within the department or with other departments.
  • Attend and participate in meetings that pertain to assigned responsibilities.
  • Test software changes outside normal business hours as and when required.

Job Requirements



  • Critical thinking skills to resolve problems and present solutions
  • High aptitude for learning an understanding by “reading the situation” to identify next steps
  • Strong SQL / Reporting experience
  • Basic Understanding of Object Oriented Programming
  • Exposure to Selenium WebDriver
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology
  • Strong test data management experience
  • Strong Testing Life Cycle Skill set
  • Strong skills with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
  • Wide ranging knowledge of Web and desktop software development practices and technologies.


Minimum work experience required/preferred:

8-10 years of experience in testing software applications, both desktop and web.


Minimum Education and Training Require/Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree (Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance or Information Systems)
