Job Description

 

The Corporate Compliance Analyst ensures that the department maintains current knowledge of consumer protection laws and remains compliant with servicing guidelines and directives for collection agencies, as specified by regulatory agencies and contractual obligations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responds to Complaints
    • Reviews the system of records
    • Reviews the complaint data
    • Requests documentation from subject matter experts
    • Researches and reviews calls
    • Creates responses to complaint along with a resolution
    • Follows up with further documentation, as assigned
  • Responds to Disputes
    • Reviews Dispute
    • Updates and reviews the system of records
    • Requests documentation
    • Logs Dispute
    • Responds to dispute
    • Documents responses in the system of records
    • Documents completion of disputes in the log
    • Maintains the log for accuracy and delayed responses bi-monthly
  • Responds to operational requests, covering cross functional needs
  • Updates Consumer Trade Line
  • Creates policies, procedures, and training materials, as assigned
  • Revise and updated documentation for accuracy and current information
  • Initiates internal and external audits and assigns, as appropriate, to the auditing team
  • Communicates with attorneys regarding ERS legal functions
  • Develop and deliver training, as assigned
  • Coordinate events and meetings 
  • Reports project status, complaints, disputes, and trends data – weekly, monthly, yearly basis
  • Maintains project logs and life cycle data
  • Reviews correspondence and returned mail
    • Opens mail
    • Locates, updates, and reviews system of records
    • Logs documents
    • Resends documents, as appropriate
