Alltran is seeking a multifaceted individual to looking to expand into the security field. The primary role of the position will involve assisting in troubleshooting / routing inbound network & telecom support tickets. This individual will be responsible for assisting with the configuration of phone(s), telephone User(s), and general trouble shooting of user issues related to telecommunications and networking.


The secondary role would be for a Level 1 Security Analyst. The daily responsibilities would involve reviewing and investigating incidents from several platforms revolving around incident and behavioral monitoring. The role would also be responsible for assisting in the reviewing of security controls through internal compliance reviews to maintain validity of the data access environment. In addition, the role will assist in the management of departmental applications and systems for availability and compliance.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Monitoring of inbound telecom tickets and assigning to the responsible engineer or troubleshooting low level issues for faster resolution with end users.
  • Assisting in the review of security policies and practices to include monthly/quarterly security assessments.
  • Assisting with the coordination or implementation of recovery test plans to continue data access processing activities at offsite location in case of emergency, such as fire at main site.
  • Reviewing computer logs and messages to identify and report on possible violations of security to management. Documents internal investigations of possible security violations. 
  • Responding to security incidents individually or as part of an incident response team.

Coordinating or assisting with IT and Compliance audits. i.e., client or Regulatory.

Education and/or Experience


  • Excellent communication and people skills required
  • Experience working with Windows Servers, and/or Windows 8 thru 10
  • Experience working with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Providing customer support through guidance, training, and/or education to end users on basic telephony software and hardware
  • Working in a team environment, while being able to keep focus on daily tasks without direct supervision
  • Basic understanding of Telephone systems
  • Basic understanding of Networking and how networks communicate
  • Basic understanding of IT and Compliance audits
  • Strong analytical ability
